The Leopold Cafe is a large and popular restaurant and bar on Colaba Causeway, in the Colaba area of Mumbai, India. It was founded in year 1871 by Iranian settlers.
This Cafe & bar is very famous amongst foreign travellers and it has been here since very long time. It also has the wall preserved with bullet holes caused by 26/11 attack. The place is a little chaotic, but has decent place to sit and enjoy hours of chat sessions with friends. We were there for 2 hours with a draught beer tower, starters are great such as prawns and chicken dishes. This Bar is variety of drinks served, but their signature drink is Draught Beer served in Towers.
If you don’t like to noisy ambience at ground floor, then you always have a choice to go to the second level which is air conditioned and specifically reserved for families.
Their menu has variety of choices you like to try. Ideally it would cost around Rs. 1000/- per person with foods and drinks.
One Place in Mumbai you must visit whenever you are in Mumbai, I am sure you will remember this place forever if you visit this place once.
Enjoy drinking sensibly.
